So I'm here in New Zealand and it's my first time down here. We got a pretty sick crew out here, and plenty of more people coming down, including a bunch more The Station people coming down soon! Here's some photos of the first couple days of riding and there will be lots more posts to come.
While I was in Hood the last few weeks I was living with my good friends Teddy Koo and Kevin Koo. Met them back in the day when I went to Windells. They brought along Takaharu Nakai, Shoma Takaoh, and Atsushi Ishikawa from Japan to come snowboard up in Oregon. We were all living together in Government Camp. They taught me all kinds of awesome Japanese dishes, a little Japanese, and the ways of the ninjas. To sum it all up they destroy on snowboards. Check it out.
So I was kickin it in Copper for the past few days at the Woodward shred facilities. Actually, not kickin it at all, as it was probably the most action packed 3 days I've had all summer. The place is way too much fun, and I'm beat. Anyways, Burton sponsored a session, and I ended up being he only rider that could make it out. Luckily our dear friend Zack Black was able to come hang around camp for a couple days with me. We seriously got after it! Unfortunately I didn't have a video camera on me, so I had to steal this edit from our homie over at YEA.NICE, Josh Sherman. I think you'll get an idea of what the camp is all about. You'll also get a little taste of my put put game...
