10 Most Disturbing Books of All Time
So I was stumbling through the internet the last few days and came across a website that describes the 10 most horrific and disturbing books ever. I have actually read Number 5, American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, because Broc gave it to me to read when I was stuck in the airport in Auckland but I read a short description of all the books and was shocked. It's sad but i want to read all 10, heres the site: 10 Most Disturbing Books of All Time

Since its been snowing for the last few days...
Ross reminded me of some of our good days at Squaw last winter. So here are some photos from the deep powder.
Our friend Bryce made it out.
We also had some of the best turns of our lives in this chute above us, as well as an avalance. If you look closely you can see the fracture line is a few feet deep and at least 100 feet wide. Pretty crazy actually.

Can't wait for more of these days....

Flu Season Precautions
This past week I have been shut down by the flu. Don't become a victim.
To help stop the spread of germs,
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
If you don't have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.
Put your used tissue in the waste basket.
Clean your hands after coughing or sneezing
Wash with soap and water.
or
Clean with alcohol-based hand cleaner.
Note: You may be asked to put on a surgical mask to protect others.

Fishing
Austin and I had to have a revenge fish after our last adventure to Bear Lake. So we made a trip down past Silverthorne.
As you can see this time we caught fish. Here I am with a nice rainbow.

Fashion Show at Avery
So Nomis had their little fashion show at The Avery Brewing Taproom the other day. I took a few photos. And I put down plenty of delicious beers straight from the tanks.
Babes and Brews, sounds good!

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros a twelve piece band from California. This band is sick! They have so much energy and passion on stage and with twelve of them it is quite a presence.
Austin Noring, Chris Hartzell, and Myself trekked down to Lyon, Co to see these guys.
The venue was awesome. It was like a barn with a huge fire-pit outside and near by mountain sides lit up behind the stage. And there was maybe 100 people there. We made our way to the front in no time. I couldn't even fit the whole band in one picture.
Here is Jade the singer jamming.
Jesus? Nope its Alex Ebert from Ima Robot. The other singer for the band.
You got to check these guys out live.

Bear Lake
Austin Noring and myself had a camping trip last week to do a high mountain fishing trip. We camped out for a night and fished all the next day.

Me hiking up the trail.
Finally Bear Lake! Unfortunately the fish suck. We saw probably 40 fish and none of them were eatting. We threw everything we had in our fly boxes at them but they would not bite. It was ok though
We were totally defeated by the fish and had another 5 miles to hike out. Our bags were not the lightest either. Austin working his way down.
We made it

Top 1-2-3-4's
Had a interview with BNQT and Mary Walsh on my top 4's straight from the dome. Check out the methods, accents, smashes, tears, and madness of summer shredding. Oh and how to make fun of Dylan. P.S. Dylan I'm sorry and I love you.
Breck Team
You know the symbol. Breck definitely has the most legit parks in the world on a daily basis. They even got the team to back it up if you don't want to take my word for it. Fortunately Zack, Brett, and I have been part of the team for a few years now and it just keeps getting better. We got Fisher, JJ Thomas, Madi Ellsworth, Thompson, and Sherm. This year they added Eric Willett. No big deal or anything but I went to preschool with him. He is a park destroyer and you will never go a day at breck without seeing him and his brother Chris sending the Freeway jumps. So stoked to shred with Eric more! Anyways check out the press release here. And I will see you thereWednesday, September 9, 2009
